How will I feel after the massage treatment?

Most people feel very relaxed. Some experience significant decrease in long term aches and pains. It is recommended you drink plenty of water after your massage since toxins are released during a massage. This helps keep your body’s tissues healthy and hydrated.

Individuals have an option of scheduling 15 or 30 minute sessions.

This type of massage is often limited to a shorter time span, usually 15 or 30 minute chair massage with a session every week (with two weeks the maximum break) is recommended.

There is no need to remove any clothing as the chair practitioner will use their massage techniques effectively through the clothing.

The massage session will take place in a warm, comfortable, quiet room with soft relaxing music played.

The chair practitioner will require filling out a health history form and asking some general questions to establish what areas that would be worked on. If there are any conditions needed to be addressed and to determine if massage is appropriate. Elder Care Massage is especially designed to their unique needs and overall health. If there is any doubt we always suggest getting a doctors approval, even though the massage techniques that are used are gentle strokes and comforting touches to ease their physical discomfort they may be having.
